Away Days in March

Join us on one or both of our upcoming Away Days at the urban oasis of the Sisters of St Andrews. These will be days for personal spiritual growth and also to discuss the future of Lewisham Unity.

Lewisham Unity Away Day

5th March, 2022

  • At the beautiful “urban oasis” of the Sisters of St Andrews

  • Discuss and guide the future of Lewisham Unity

  • Time for personal and spiritual reflection

  • Newcomers especially welcome!

Dates: Saturday, 5th March
Time: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm
Location: Sisters of St Andrews, Belmont Hill, Lewisham
Suggested donation: £10, £5 concessions (per day)

This first Away Day is designed to be a time community reflection, as we celebrate our achievements, take stock, and look towards the future. It is also a time for you to think more deeply about your spiritual life and your connection to Lewisham Unity. A time for the community to consider how best to live its core values, strengthen its ties to the wider society, and best support its members and friends. There will be pauses throughout the day where you are encouraged to take a stroll in the gardens (there is a labyrinth for a more structured walk) or just find a quiet space to reflect. No matter how long or short of a time that you have been involved with Lewisham Unity, we would welcome your presence!

Hot drinks and biscuits will be provided, but please bring a packed lunch or a vegetarian dish to share at lunchtime.

If there is enough interest, we will offer breakout sessions on specific subjects, such as Pastoral Care, Music and Social Action. We are asking for a small donation to help cover our costs, but it is entirely optional - please don't let personal finances stop you from attending! Advance registration, however is vital, so please indicate your interest on the registration form.
